Pete McDaniel Becomes Contributing Writer With African American Golfer's Digest

MR. PETE McDANIEL joins the African American Golfer's Digest, the nations leading print magazine for avid Black Golfers, as a contributing writer to the editorial team.  McDaniel, a prolific journalistist, well-known throughout the golf industry is author of “Uneven Lies: The Heroic Story of African Americans in Golf” and Co-Author of “How I Play Golf” and “Training a Tiger.”

McDaniel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
Pete’s broad experience includes serving as Senior Writer at Golf Digest and Golf World magazines and over 16 years of primary responsibility collaborating on instruction and feature articles with Tiger Woods. Pete was a sports editor of the Hendersonville Times-News for 13 years where he earned several North Carolina Press Association writing awards. The Arden, NC native currently resides in Conyers, GA.
