According to the National Golf Foundation WOMEN are the fastest growing segment of new golfers, with more than 6 million female golfers in the United States. Rodney Green, director of golf at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Florida, has seen a sharp increase in the number of women participating in both individual lessons and group clinics at his club over the last few years. Why is there such a growth?  My opinion--women are wising up on personal health, fitness and business networking!

A lot of people have been rining our phone and sending emails today on their opinion concerning defending champion Peter Uihlein.  Uihleim is back in the field at the U.S. Amateur, looking to become the first player since Tiger Woods (1994-96) to win this event back-to-back. Will it be so?  One thing's for sure.  We'll find out soon!
